Moscow museums
Moscow museums offer free admission to mark the Historical and Cultural Heritage Day of the city.
Annually, on April 18 (International Day for the Protection of Monuments and Places of Interest) and May 18 (International Museum Day), Historical and Cultural Heritage Days are held in Moscow. According to the established tradition, within the framework of Heritage Days in April and May, the doors of historical and cultural monuments are opened for excursions and specialized events.
During the Days of Heritage, residents and guests of Moscow get a unique opportunity to see the interiors of ancient mansions and estates, access to which is usually limited. The audience is particularly interested in excursions with visits to cultural heritage sites where diplomatic missions of foreign states, representative offices of constituent entities of the Russian Federation, and commercial organizations are located.
Venue: The Cathedral Square of the Kremlin, The Darwin Museum, the Gulag Museum, the Archaeological Museum, the Museum of Cosmonautics, etc.
