From February 28 to March 1, the Taltsy Museum invites everyone to widely, cheerfully, in the “Russian” style to celebrate their favorite national holiday – Shrovetide! The program for you includes folk games and fun, eating pancakes, an “Pancake week” pillar, Russian dances, dances, songs, performances by folklore groups, and a trade fair selling handicrafts.

And also these days in the pocket of the main doll of the holiday – Pancake Week – you can put a note with a description of their troubles. According to popular belief, if you burn with it all your misfortunes, they will disappear with smoke.

The Taltsy Museum of Architecture and Ethnography is located 47 km from Irkutsk along the Baikal Highway.
