Kazan is the capital of the Republic of Tatarstan in Russia and home to more than a million people. The city lies at the meeting point of the River Volga and Kazanka River, which is overlooked by the Kazan Kremlin – a World Heritage Site.
Using the fastest,most agile, lightweight racing planes, pilots hit speeds of 370km/h while enduring forces of up to 10G as they navigate a low-level slalom track marked by 25-meter-high, air-filled pylons. 14 teams of Master Class pilots and up to 10 pilots in the Challenger Class will compete in two competitions across the race weekend.
