The Red Bull Air Race returns to Russia for a third time

The Red Bull Air Race World Championship features the world’s best race pilots in a pure motorsport competition that combines speed, precision and skill.

The Red Bull Air Race returns to Russia Kazan is the capital of the Republic of Tatarstan in Russia and home to more than a million people. The city lies at the meeting point of the River Volga and Kazanka River, which is overlooked by the Kazan Kremlin – a World Heritage Site.

Using the fastest,most agile, lightweight racing planes, pilots hit speeds of 370km/h while enduring forces of up to 10G as they navigate a low-level slalom track marked by 25-meter-high, air-filled pylons. 14 teams of Master Class pilots and up to 10 pilots in the Challenger Class will compete in two competitions across the race weekend.
